It is one of the longest rivers in Jamaica, at 53.4 kilometers. Its name refers to the darkness of the water, caused by thick layers of decomposing vegetation.<\/h4>\n

Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer and songwriter. During his musical career he was the leader, songwriter and guitarist of the bands The Wailers (1964-1974) and Bob Marley & The Wailers (1974-1980). Marley remains the best-known and most respected performer of reggae music and is credited with helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement (of which he was a committed member) to a worldwide audience.<\/h4>\n
