That said, it is a lot of hours on the bus, so it is worth knowing exactly what the journey is like and getting ready for it.<\/p>\n

How long is the bus trip from Montevideo to Florian\u00f3polis<\/h2>\n

Regular bus lines between Tres Cruces and the Florian\u00f3polis bus terminal take, on average, between 17 and 19 hours<\/strong>. On group trips the time can stretch a little because of stops to eat and stretch your legs, and in peak season the border crossing can take longer than usual.<\/p>\n
