Day 1 - MONTEVIDEO:
Departures on excellent coaches with SEMI-SLEEPER seats, hot/cold air conditioning, TV/video, restroom, bar, on-board service and digital audio, accompanied by our tour leader and two expert international drivers throughout the trip. Day 2 - FOZ DO IGUAÇU
Breakfast included. Arrival in Foz do Iguaçu in the morning. After midday we will check in at a quality hotel. Free afternoon to rest and get to know the area. Dinner included in the evening.
Day 3 - FOZ DO IGUAÇU
Breakfast included. Today we set off for Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side (admission included). We will walk along the catwalks and marvel at the spectacle of 275 waterfalls cascading along a 3 km semicircle. Those who wish can try the Macuco Safari (boat ride not included). Return to the hotel. Dinner included.
Day 4 - PUERTO IGUAZÚ
Breakfast included. Today we will cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge into Argentina to visit Iguazú National Park (admission included). We will board a tourist train with a park guide and then take a beautiful walk alongside the falls and cascades, in direct contact with nature, until we reach the most impressive drop of all, the Devil's Throat. Return to the hotel. In the evening we will enjoy a dinner show, included.
Day 5 - CIUDAD DEL ESTE – ITAIPU DAM
Breakfast included. We will visit the hydroelectric complex with the highest accumulated hydropower output in the world, the Itaipu Dam. We will take a panoramic tour and take in the sheer scale of the structure. After the visit we will head to Ciudad del Este, with free time for shopping. At a convenient time we will return to the hotel for a free afternoon. Dinner included in the evening.
Day 6 - FOZ DO IGUAÇU – MONTEVIDEO
Breakfast included. We will head to the Argentine border, go through immigration and continue our journey through Wanda and San Ignacio until we reach the border with Uruguay for the corresponding formalities. Lunch and on-board service included as we travel on to…..
